That’s not a formatting problem —it’s a strategy problem.

This course teaches you how resumes actually work.

The Resume Blueprint helps you:
  • Write a focused resume that matches the role you want
  • Stop rewriting your resume for every single application
  • Clearly communicate your value (without bragging or fluff)
  • Feel confident hitting “submit” instead of second-guessing

This works whether you’re a career changer, returning to work, or staying in your industry.

You’ve got experience.
You’ve rewritten your resume
more times than you can count.
And it’s still not landing interviews.

"Thank you so much for this valuable guidance!! I took this course, and it was soooo helpful!!! When Erin explained the logic behind “why” things were important in your resume, it really helped me understand how & where I needed to improve things! Within days of using my newly updated resume, my applications were getting hits, and I was finally getting interviews. I highly recommend this training if you're struggling to get eyes on your resume!"

"This course gave me so much confidence moving forward with applications. I found all the modules incredible valuable, and the way Erin has them laid out and the resources she provides make it so easy to create a fabulous resume, cover letter and LI profile. 100% worth the small investment in this course. I have already told all my friends about it!"

"I would highly recommend the Resume Blueprint because it helped me land a job offer in 35 days after beginning my job search. A friend recommended I reach out to Erin. I'm so glad I did! Within a week of joining The Resume Blueprint, I had the strongest resume and cover letter I have ever had in my 15+ years working as a professional. Once I got the job offer, the recruiter told me the Hiring Manager was very impressed with my resume. My resume stood out in a large pool of candidates. Thank you Erin and Resume Blueprint!!"

"I can't express how helpful this course was. I was hesitant to purchase any sort of course, but after spending hours editing my resume and reading conflicting advice on Linkedin and just generally feeling like I was getting nowhere, I knew I needed a new plan of attack--and I'm so glad this is where I landed. I so appreciate how clear and concise Erin is in the modules. There was not a single step of the course that I thought was unnecessary or drawn out, and the templates were hugely helpful. I have a better understanding of how to market myself through the exercises. THANK YOU!!!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I really complete this course in a weekend?

Q:

Yep. Most people complete the Blueprint in a weekend*.

*By weekend, I really mean any two days you'd like to spend working on your resume. Works just as well on a Tues/Wed 😉

But if that's not your timeline, don't worry: you'll have lifetime access to the Resume Blueprint so you can complete it at whatever pace fits your life best.

Wouldn't it be better to hire a resume writer?

Q:
As a former recruiting industry leader and current hiring manager at Amazon, here is the best advice I can give you:

Don't outsource your resume.

Why?

Three solid reasons:

Reason 1: Professional writers need to write a lot of resumes (or charge you a TON of money) to have a successful business. That means they're likely going to churn you through a standard process that doesn't leave room for your active input personality to shine through. This means unless you pay for a 1:1 resume model where you're involved in the process, you're likely to get a generic resume that blends in with the pack. To get interviews, you need to stand out.

Reason 2: Resume writers lean heavily on adjectives (experienced, motivated, driven, successful) to make your resume sound fancy...but to the experienced recruiter or hiring manager, those words are purposeless fluff (and incredibly boring to read).

The Resume Blueprint teaches you how to describe yourself so you sound like the interesting, unique, effective professional that you are rather than a corporate carbon copy produced on a resume assembly line.

Reason 3: If you don't learn this, your problem is going to keep on showing up. That's right. Most people avoid their resume because they "aren't sure what to say" or "don't know how to find the data". When you don't do the work to figure this out in your resume? You're going to find you struggle in interviews as well. Writing your resume is the BEST way to figure out your story, pitch, and examples that you'll use to successfully complete an interview. Imagine this: You want to get to the Olympics. But instead of training and doing the work, you hire someone else to do the boring work for you. Then, you show up on the day of the Olympics...but you're not really a trained athlete. You aren't ready to compete because you weren't putting in the reps all along. Writing your resume is practice for the big day. Don't cheat yourself.

Why is this course $97?

Q:

The ability to position yourself effectively on a resume shouldn't cost thousands of dollars.

Anyone can build an exceptional resume with The Resume Blueprint.

Including you.

The course is $97 because it costs enough for you to take the course seriously...but doesn't create a massive multi-hundred (or thousand!) dollar barrier to entry for most job seekers.

If you follow me on LinkedIn or have read a bit of my background, you'll know that I unexpectedly lost my job 10 years ago and started over from scratch. I didn't have anyone (or any course) to help me figure out what to do, and it was awful.

I built the Resume Blueprint to offer what I wish I had back back then.

I don't know you. Why should I listen to you?

Q:

My name is Erin Lewber.

I'm a former, award-winning Recruiting industry leader, a current hiring manager at Amazon, and Career Coach specializing in job search and strategic career growth. I've helped thousands of candidates build resumes, prepare for interviews, successfully land jobs, and strategically move to the next level in their careers. I've also read thousands of resumes and know exactly what a hiring manager (like me) looks for.

The Resume Blueprint packages the effective, real-life facts and strategies you need to build a resume that gets interviews.

I've purchased a course before and didn't finish it. How is this one different?

Q:
You will have some ownership in deciding to finish this course - there's only so much I can do about that.

BUT!

I've made this course simple, smart, and speedy.

No long, drawn out lessons - just the stuff you need to take action: most lessons are under 10 min.

No fluffly activities - Each phase has a specific purpose and deliverable. Watch the video. Follow the steps to complete. Move on to the next phase.

No trendy advice or scare tactics - The resume world is full of people telling you that you don't know what you're doing and couldn't possibly get it right on your own. The strategies in this course are based on what actually works, and not too surprisingly: what works is simple.

Bottom line: The Resume Blueprint is built to help you learn and take action so you'll stay engaged through the end.

Do I get lifetime access?

Q:
Yep.

I was told resumes are dead & LinkedIn is what matters now...

Q:
If you've heard anything about Amazon (where I work today as a hiring manager), you'll know we have a writing culture.

We write. A lot.

Why?

Because writing forces you to articulate and edit your message.

It allows you to get feedback and edit some more.

Your resume isn't just a resume, it is your professional sales pitch in writing

Writing a resume can feel boring and overwhelming, but it is one of the most critical steps to a successful search

You'll use your resume's 'pitch' on your LinkedIn profile, as you network, and in your interviews.

In other words: your resume is the foundation of every next step in your job search.

Invest your time to build a solid foundation.

You'll see a massive increase in your results.

Is this course meant for career pivoters or transitioning teachers?

Q:
Yes. This course is great for career pivoters because it teaches you how to research any role then build a resume for that role.

The only thing you'll want to be sure of is that you have your target role narrowed down. If you're still struggling with what you'd like to do next, don't build a resume yet.

Resumes need to be built for the role you're targeting - an Instructional Design resume is going to be different than a Sales resume.
